Custom Snapbacks is now Acme Hat Co

Custom Snapbacks was born in 2011 when the custom hat industry was an entirely different landscape. Unless you were a big company ordering big amounts, customer service was non-existent and the majority just wouldn’t even reply.

It was out of the frustration of trying to get our own hats made we set out to change things. There had to be a better way. We wanted to empower businesses both big and small. The startup fashion labels. The local sports teams. You.

Starting with a second hand 4 head SWF embroidery machine, we’ve grown to over 5000 customers in over 100 countries. Our product line now consists of not just custom snapbacks but also:

• Dad hats
• 5 panel hats
• And more!

We’ve also expanded our capabilities to include low minimum order cut-n-sew private label hats, both 100% USA Made and import.

With new styles and new capabilities it was high time to update our identity to better reflect the company we are today.

We wanted a name that was relatable and fun. A name that stood for excellence, was genuine and approachable. A name that would stand the test of time.

We chose Acme.
